Sanghyang Dance is a sacred dance ( trance ) as intruding spirits ( celestial
nymphs and other animals that have a destructive force such as wild boar
, monkeys , or who have other supernatural powers ) . This
dance is a cultural heritage of pre - Hindu is intended as a repellent
danger , is to open the spiritual communication of citizens with the
supernatural . This
dance is performed by a daughter and son dancers to the accompaniment
of a choir of men and women who sing songs of worship .In Sukawati - Gianyar region , this dance is also accompanied by Gamelan Palegongan .In the Dance Trance according to the Chronicle of Bali , there are always three important elements that smoke / fire , Trance and Ask this medium ( person or doll ) .Implementation through three important stages , namely :1 .
